Expedition to the last Capital of the Incas!!!!

Choquequirao - Vitcos- Vilcabamba 15 Days / 14 Nights

Itinerary

Day 1

We pick up you from your hotel .and we will drive until the first Inca site killarumiyoq after to visit we will continue driven to next tarawasi Inca site our trek begin in cachora there we will pick up our horses . and the horseman, our trail takes us winding into the spectacular apurimac canyon .we will descend by switch backs to chikiska camping site. Camp (L/D).

Day 2

After breakfast we3 will continue to Apurimac footbridge and then ascend to maranpata and to choquekirao. Your guide will explain the history and the myths that surround this lost city of the Incas. Camp (B/L/D).

Day 3

After breakfast once again you will visit this spectacular Inca site choquekirao was never discovered by the Spaniards .it was probable one of the royal states of the Incas and served as gateway to that wild vilcabamba region beyond. Now the way you will go it is to the next Inca site pinchaunuyoq served as an agricultural support center nearby choquekirao. After to visit this Inca site, we will continue down hill hike to. Rio Blanco river side. After taste lunch we will ascend by couple switch backs we will arrive to maizal camping site. Camp (B/L/D).

Day 4

Today will be exploring day we are going to corralpata and qoriwayrachina Inca building. For those that which to rise early for some archaeological exploration , newly discovered Inca site as soon as we will get there you will be excited from the views , then we will go to explore cotacuca Inca site which is not far away. We will stay one night at this camping site. Camp (B/LD).

Day 5

This fresh morning from the plateau slope camping site you will hike by humid rain forest surrounded by bamboos, mossy way. Inca highway becames even more exposed and we will see it the first of many Inca silver mines scattered beside the trail. Close to Victoria pass you will have lunch with spectacular panoramic views as well as you will get the pass you will see it our next5 destination and the way to the last strong hold of the Incas, the walk will be down hill on the cliff face walk and you will see it on the valley this tiny village of yanama. Camp (B/L/D).

Day 6

It is time to take the next way; the way will be nice the trail generally ascend by gentle, relaxed grade. High Andean meadows, pasture lands. The way will quiet we will be alones not like in traditional Inca trail with so many people hire you will be the nature ,mountains , and your team the way will be rain forest , many orquids local flora and fauna today we will arrive to qelqamachay camping site Camp (B/L/D).

Day 7

The Inca highway becomes even more exposed form the valley you will see it way up our next destination so means choquetacarpo pass which is about 4,650 m.a.s.l, this point is the highest pass of the trip and form hire the rest of the trip will be down hill hike. After a brief moment to catch your breath and take some fabulous photos with your heads in the clouds we will descend into the area. Which visit already part of huancacalle our final destination away you will see it paved original Inca trail going by the left and righ hand of the river, and then we will go to our next camping site Punta carretera. Day 8

Wow!!! It is our almost the end of our adventure!! Today after breakfast we will go toward huancacalle a long the way we will pass by tiny villages then we are arriving to huancacalle town as soon as we will get there we are going to visit part of the last strong hold of the Incas like yuraqrumi or ñusta hispana, Vitcos or rosaspata, will be nice to explore this beautiful Inca site your guide will explain about this Inca site then you will have free time to explore yourself. Day 9

This day alter breakfast shower and explore huancacalle town we will go toward quilpapaqasa the way will be pace deferent views deferent plants. CAMP-(B-L-D).

Day 10

After a crisp fresh awakening to the to the breeze flowing through the mounting we enjoy the prepared breakfast and give respect to the mother earth for the gifts she braw we will go toward zone of maukachaca we continued passing by pampaconas going down hill bike toward unto where we will camp we will have the opportunity of fishing. Day 11

From ututo the journey will be hill hike after few hiking we will appreciate Vegetation o cloud forest whose climate is template hat and you will appreciate the Pampaconas River you will have lunch on the river shore after short nap the hiking is still continuing until we will arrive to the place called as vista alegre tonight we will stay there. CAMP (B-L-D).

Day 12

After taste breakfast we will entered to the vilcabamba valley quite warm you will arrive to qasa cross a beautiful place to see it abundant floras and fauna so means today will be birding day hire you will see the Peruvian national bird cock of the rock then we are arriving to tinkumayo and to concevidayoq. CAMP (B-L-D).

Day 13 & Day 14

Today our way will be to the cast toward pampaconas river that will drive us to espritu pampa the last capital of the Incas espiritupampa this last capital of the Incas until 1572 the viceroy ordered the Incas capture sending an army of almost 300 soldiers led by Martin Garcia oñaz de Loyola they arrived to vilcabamba giving had quit green further inside the forest.
