Amazing Lares Trek 1th (5 Days / 4 Nights) Cusco Peru

Itinerary

Day 1 Amazing Lares Trek

Early morning we will pick up you from your hotel. Then you will go to the beginning of the sacred valley. Pisaq, calca, and from calca we will ascend by macha cancha hot spring along the way we will see it typical villages. After to get the pass we will go all the way down until lares town a soon as we will get there we will go to relax to the hot spring of lares there we will pick up the horses and the horseman after lunch.

We start to hike the way will be very nice hike a long the way you will see it typical communities and the people wearing their local garment. Today we will go to cuncani village after cuncani we will go about 40 more minutes to the camping site which is located at the site of the lake with the nice view point. Camp (l/d).

Day 2

After early breakfast we will start to hike toward kiswarani village, today we will go to the first pass which is about 4,200 m.a.s.l, first we will see it some birds like. Puna ibis, Andean ibis, Andean geese, flamingoes, some wild duks, Andean gulls. Andean coots, herons and beautiful water falls. Spectacular views. As soon we will get the top or the first pass will be down hill hike until kiswarani village, then we will start to ascend site of the next lake we will pass by a nice water fall and to the camping site. Camp (b/L/D).

Day 3

After to re energize we will start to hike to the highest pass which is about 4,500 m.a.s.l a long the way we will see it more local fauna some birds and many llamas the way to the pass will be amazing you will see it a lot of stipa ichu or straw or puna grass of course every day you will get to deferent ecosystems on the pachacutec pass you will make offering to the top will be nice connection you and the nature after that you are still ascending.

the views will be great from the highest part you will get nice panoramic view points you will enjoy a spectacular view of the snow capped peaks of pitusiray (5,750m,a,s,l) and chicon (5,500m.a.s.l)an original Inca stone path will lead?? us along the ridge down into the opposite corridor . We will see it more lakes and another beautiful valley appears. From hire the way will be down hill hike until canchacancha village. Camp (B/L/D).

Day 4

From canchacancha the way will be down hill hike until huaran village the way will be completely deferent with many local threes like qeuña or polilepis recinosa, begonias, minthostachys spicata, salvia opositiflora, tasta or escalonia myrtilloides, escallonia recinosa or chachacomo and some orquids as well.
hire you will see it a lot of corn fields and we will get to huaran town to get the bus which want it is gone drive us to ollantayatambo town. There we will take the train to Machupicchu down town we will stay at this town Hostel (B/L/D).

Day 5

After breakfast we will take the bus toward Machupicchu Inca site one of the wonder of the world here your guide will explain you the history and myths about this beautiful Inca site then you will have time for yourself to explore more maybe to climb to Waynapicchu mountain or to hike to the sun gate to maybe to visit the Inca bridge then you will have lunch at Machupicchu down town and you will take the train toward Cusco (B).
