Amazing Trail Salkantay to Machupicchu 7D/6N Cusco Peru

Day 1 Trail Salkantay

We will pick up early morning from your hotel, you will drive by bus to mollepata town the beginning of the trip. along the way we will visit the first Inca site killarumiyoq after that we will drive to the next inca site tarawasi, and we will go to mollepata there we will pick up the horses and the horse man this day we will go to soraypampa camp site Camp (L/D).

Itinerary

Day 1 Inca site killarumiyoq

Early morning we will pick up from you hotel .we will drive to mollepata to begin the journey along the way we will pass by deferent towns like anta plains, then ancawasi to visit the first Inca site killarumiyoq after we will continue driven by another towns and finally we will arrive to limatambo and hire we will visit the next Inca site after to visit still we will drive to mollepata there we will pick up the horses and we are going to markokasa. Camp (L/D).

Day 2 choquekillca

We will wake up early for breakfast then we will start to hike. After this point we will se it everywhere maybe any condor!!!!!!! The scenery will be changing every step. Along the way you will see it local native trees, orquids, ferns, bushes, puna grass or straw, from choquekillca we will see it salkantay and humantay snow capped mountains the main gods from this area, connecting the Andes with the jungle at whose feet we will stay at about 4,000m.a.s.l. Camp (B/L/D).

Day 3 Mountains

Today w will have spectacular views as salkantay and tucarway ,humantay snow capped mountains a long the way to the highest pass incachiriaska we will make our offering to salkantay and there you will see it the Andean offering still today the Andean people offering to the mountains and of course to the mother earth. You will have chance to do your own offering, and then we will descend toward the valley of Inca channel, a long the way we will observe the imposing Andean geography. Camp (B/L/D).

Day 4 : Inca trail

After taste breakfast we will start to hike by side of the Inca channel toward paucarcancha Inca site, entering to the wayllabamba valley and to the first control point form the Inca trail. Then we will hike up to the base camp or llulluchapampa. Camp (B/L/D).

Day 5 pacaymayo .

We will start to ascend toward the first pass from the Inca trail (dead woman pass) which is about 4,200m.a.s.l from hire the rest of the trip will be down hike toward pacaymayo continuing to the next Inca site (runkuraqay) and the next pass ( runkuraqay pass )after to enjoy the views we will go down hill to sayacmarca Inca site. Camp (B/L/D).

Day 6: wiñaywayna Inca site.

This day will be more cultural, natural, nice views, and gentle path, mossy way, humid more closely related to cloud forest from phuyupatamarca you will see it Machupicchu mountain and the actual Machupicchu down town . Good spot for pictures. The next way you will down hill by the Inca tunnel to wiñaywayna camping site .and a short hike to wiñaywayna Inca site. Camp (B/L/D).

Day 7 Machupicchu.

We will arise very early so that we may catch the sunrise from intipunku .in the anticipation to continuing on the trail your hearts may begin to pound from the excitement that awaits your every step and breathe as you approach the Inca citadel. Just as you are to make your final turn, a few steps further as you enter into the sun gate or intipunku and have our first breathtaking view of Machupicchu we will spend plenty of time in Machupicchu where your guide will explain the history ,myths that surround this archaeological wonder of that world . In the afternoon, we will take the train from Machupicchu down town back to Cusco. Camp (B/L/D).

The 8th day Trek Extension with optional Hotel or Camp Site Optional one Extra Day.

Day 8

We will wake up early after breakfast we will take the bus to visit once again the forgotten city of Machupicchu you will have plenty of time to enjoy one more day this wonder of the Andes your guide will explain the history and the myths that surround this archaeological wonder in the afternoon , we will take the train from Machupicchu down town back Cusco.
