Day 1 – La Paz Sajama National Park
Depart La Paz heading west toward Sajama National Park, Bolivia’s oldest protected area. Along the way, visit the Chullpas de Sajama, ancient pre-Incan burial towers surrounded by vast open plains. Arrive at the park, framed by the majestic Nevado Sajama Volcano (6,542 m) — the country’s highest peak. Enjoy a relaxing soak in the Huayña Khota hot springs beneath the Andean stars.
Overnight in Sajama village lodge or Tomarapi Eco-Lodge.
Day 2 – Sajama Tomave Uyuni
After breakfast, travel south through dramatic high-altitude landscapes and traditional Aymara villages. Visit Tomave, a charming town known for its colonial church and traditional llama herding culture. Arrive in Uyuni, gateway to the world’s largest salt flat. Before sunset, visit the Train Cemetery, a haunting yet beautiful open-air museum of Bolivia’s rail history.

Day 3 – Uyuni Salt Flat: The Mirror of the Sky

Day 4 – Uyuni Siloli Desert Tayka del Desierto
Journey south across the high Andean plateau toward the surreal Siloli Desert, often called the “Desert of Dali” for its dreamlike rock formations. Along the route, visit:
Laguna Cañapa and Laguna Hedionda, home to Andean flamingos.
Stone Tree (Arbol de Piedra), a natural rock sculpture carved by wind.
Arrive at Tayka del Desierto, an eco-lodge in the middle of the Altiplano, surrounded by volcanoes and solitude.

Day 5 – Colored Lagoons & Geothermal Wonders
Early departure to visit the Laguna Colorada, an intense red lake populated by thousands of flamingos. Continue through the Sol de Mañana Geysers, where steam and mud pools bubble at dawn, and relax in the Polques Hot Springs. Cross the Dali Desert, with pastel-colored dunes and surreal volcanic scenery, before reaching the Laguna Verde and Laguna Blanca at the foot of the Licancabur Volcano.

Day 6 – Mallku Cueva Alota Uyuni
On your final day, return to Uyuni, stopping at:

The itinerary may be subject to change due to road conditions, weather (especially during rainy season when parts of the salar may flood), altitude or access issues. Guests are reminded this is remote terrain at high elevation (above 3,650 m) and acclimatization is advised.
