Huchuy Qosqo Trek Machupicchu 2d/1n
Embark on the Huchuy Qosqo Trek to Machu Picchu (2 days / 1 night) with Inca Land Adventures, a locally owned and sustainable Cusco-based operator. This trek offers a perfect blend of adventure, culture, and history — ideal for travelers who want an off‑the‑beaten-path experience without committing to the longer, more crowded routes.
On Day 1, you’ll hike through high Andean terrain toward the remote archaeological site of Huchuy Qosqo, perched at around 3,650 m above sea level. This Inca complex, whose name means “Little Cusco,” served as a royal estate and features terraces, storehouses, and Incan buildings with sweeping views over the Sacred Valley.
You’ll camp overnight, fully supported with quality gear and guidance from experienced, English-speaking local guides.
On Day 2, rise early for a once-in-a-lifetime moment: catch the first bus up to Machu Picchu at dawn, beating the crowds. Your guide will lead you through the most significant sectors of the site — urban, agricultural, and sacred zones — and you’ll have free time to explore or optionally hike up Huayna Picchu for spectacular panoramic views. After lunch in Aguas Calientes, board a scenic backpacker train back to Ollantaytambo or Cusco, where a private van will bring you to your hotel in the evening

Includes
At 5am we’ll have breakfast and half hour later board the first tourist bus to arrive to Machu Picchu so that we are the first visitors inside the Machu Picchu archaeological site. There, you will have a complete guided tour of this spectacular and mystical place. The guided tour includes a walk through the different sections, such as the urban sector, the agriculture sector and the religions zone. You will also have the option to climb to Huayna Picchu (Young Mountain), a hike that takes about 2 hours round trip. From the summit you will have the best panoramic view for photos of the entirety of Machu Picchu and of the deep green canyon surrounding the sacred Inca city. If you don’t choose to climb Huayna Picchu, you will have free time to explore on your own. Then we will board the tourist bus to return to Aguas Calientes. Lunch will be in the town of Aguas Calientes and at around 4pm we will aboard the backpacker train to Ollantaytambo (Sacred Valley) or straight to Cusco and from here a private van will drop us to the hotel in Cusco at about 8:30pm.
